Our Returners Programme is designed to help you kick-start your career if you have had a career break of two years or more. If you are looking to return to work, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

Our paid programme offers:

  • Training and coaching sessions through our trusted third-party partner
  • A mentor/buddy for support and advice
  • A manager who has received training to fully support your transition back into the workplace

If you would like to be part of our programme, we are ideally looking for people who have previous experience in the following areas at all levels:

  • Engineering– civil, mechanical, electrical or design
  • Operational – operatives, construction managers / supervisors, project managers, planners, BIM coordinators or BIM managers
  • Commercial – quantity surveyors or commercial managers
  • Head office – human resources, IT, health and safety, finance or legal

The roles are all based at a fixed location or office and you should be flexible to travel for coaching and workshops. You also need to be available for the duration of the programme. Our programme starts in January 2020 and will run for 21 weeks, with successful candidates potentially transitioning into permanent roles.

The application timeline

  • Applications are now closed
  • By 8 November 2019 – applications will be reviewed against live opportunities. All applicants will receive feedback
  • November 2019 – interviews arranged with our hiring managers
  • December 2019 – offers issued to successful applicants
  • January 2020 – programme starts for all the new returners
