What you'll be doing
As a Highway Maintenance Operative you will:
- Provide winter maintenance operations including participating in a shift system and winter standby rota;
- Be responsible for traffic management;
- Participate in emergency response on a rostered basis;
- Civil works e.g. Carriageway patching, drainage and fencing repairs;
- Cyclic works e.g. Sign cleaning, gully cleaning and grass cutting.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities and experience are essential:
- Class 1 or 2 LGV licence;
- In receipt of Driver CPC qualification;
- NHSS 12 AB Foreman/LTMO;
- Knowledge and awareness of health & safety procedures and standards.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
- Winter maintenance experience;
- NRSWA Qualification;
- First Aid Qualification;
- CPCS Telescopic Telehandler.
