Our Central Rail Systems Alliance (CRSA) offers the unique opportunity to work with partner organisations across the rail industry. CRSA has been created to make a positive impact on the UK track renewals industry by drawing on the strengths of all alliance partners and collaborative working.

Bringing together knowledge and experience in critical rail infrastructure and track renewals, the alliance deploys innovative working methods to realise efficiencies and create a more reliable railway infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the review tenders, including estimates, cost data and contract.
  • Manage the preparation of Target Cost for a Project, including the associated risks.
  • Support the review of tenders, including estimates, cost data and contracts.
  • Manage the preparation of the Target Cost for a Project, including associated risks.
  • Coordinate with the commercial team and planners to ensure programme issues are identified and actioned in line with the contract.
  • Establish client supply chain requirements and advise on alternative forms of contract and procurement arrangements.
  • Reporting to the Head of Commercial and CRSA management team.

Who we are looking for

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing the commercial performance in complex infrastructure projects at a senior level.
  • Experience leading commercial teams and managing teams' performance development reviews, associated training including professional requirements, and succession planning opportunities.
  • Member or fellow of RICS or ICES or working towards this accreditation.
  • Experience of financial and commercial control within complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of managing audits on Target Cost Contracts.
  • Experience in the recruitment and retention of staff, including interviewing staff.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations London, Midlands, North East/West.
