About the role

Role purpose:

To support the delivery of Power training and competence provision, the role will focus on providing day-to-day support in the delivery of a training plan and competence requirements across Power. Specifically providing the team with the relevant Management Information (MI) and programme development

What you'll be doing

Key Accountabilities:

  • To support the Programme Lead - in the Day to Day tasks to support the training function within area of responsibility
  • To support the Operational areas in all aspects of their training MI
  • Support and drive a compliant and professional service in line with the Company and Power strategy.
  • Advise operations of any change in training MI to ensure managers are aware of training needs
  • Monitor and assist with Budgets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Programme Lead - to set the direction for the training programmes and MI in line with business goals and customer service values.
  • Support the Training teams to deliver high quality services - Training MI data as required
  • Ensure legal compliance for the business within a framework of business improvement and a satisfying working environment.
  • Work with and advise areas of spend vs. Budget
  • To facilitate and maintain effective communication links with the Operation and training teams
  • Promote Power Training delivery and services that we can offer
  • To promote a professional image at all time in support of the companies and department values
  • To ensure that you develop your capabilities through continuing professional development
  • To carryout any additional responsibilities from time to time in line with business needs

Who we're looking for

Skills Required:

  • R12 capability
  • Administration qualification or suitable experience
  • Expert in use of MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Training Evaluation methods and systems

Advantage but not Essential

  • Understanding of CITB funding
  • A good working knowledge and an understanding of current training award bodies
