As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on our HTMC contract alongside East Sussex County Council, managing all costs relating to the Highway Maintenance
schemes.

What you'll be doing

As a Quantity Surveyor you will:

Build up estimates from first principle including net and gross estimates
Translate measurement from drawings and Specifications and prepare Bills of Quantities & a schedule of rates.
Have an understanding of delay and disruption programmes
Collation of Cost and Value Information
Prepare Cost reconciliation statements
Undertake customer and stakeholder management for their area of responsibility
Measure of works and agreements with subcontractors
Be working towards professional membership from the RICS, ICES or CIOB.

Who we're looking for

You will need the following:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
  • Previous experience with NEC 4 Options A,C and E.
  • Achievement Focus (Achieving Results) Previous Commercial Work experience ideally the Civils/Construction sector
