What you'll be doing

You will have experience as an Estimating Assistant / Enquiries Administrator supporting all members of the Work Winning team with receipt and organisation of tender documents.

As an Estimating Assistant / Enquiries Administrator you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Breaking down Bill of Quantities in line with Specifications and Drawings
  • Co-ordinate and respond to Queries from Supply Chain via wider bid team
  • Record all quotations received on Procurement schedule and file in SharePoint
  • Chase supply chain for outstanding quotations as instructed by the Estimators
  • Check tender documents as they are received
  • General administration within the department, e.g Typing letters, Downloading and Uploading Tender information from web portals as and when required

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of working in construction - building/civils/energy
  • Secretarial and/or administrative experience
  • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Very strong customer focus
