What you'll be doing

As the Engineering Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and compliance of our fleet. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from meticulous equipment maintenance to overseeing regulatory compliance and safety measures. You will actively contribute to the development and execution of reliability growth plans, working closely with the Central Engineering team. Additionally, your role involves managing maintenance managers, conducting quality inspections, and providing valuable technical insights through regular reporting.

  1. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure meticulous maintenance of allocated equipment/machines, adhering to company policies and specific maintenance schedules.
  2. Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Guarantee understanding of rules, regulations, and policies among maintenance staff, establishing systems for health and safety protection.
  3. Documentation and Asset Management: Oversee the timely updating and submission of maintenance documentation and Asset Management System records.
  4. Training and Development: Assure the competency and training of maintenance staff for effective task execution.
  5. Facilities and Equipment Management: Ensure availability and compliance of maintenance facilities and equipment with statutory and company standards.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking a dedicated professional with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in fleet maintenance management within the railway industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team of technicians.
  • In-depth knowledge of BBRP, Network Rail Processes, Railway Industry Standards, and ORR regulations.
