What’s more, you’ll have the freedom to shape the path you want – seeking out the roles and experiences that really inspire you. The key disciplines on offer are:

THE SCHEME

We designed our two-year Technical Graduate Scheme to start your journey towards becoming an industry expert. So expect well-structured training, incredible projects, talented colleagues and loads of hands-on experience.

Your time on the programme will see you gaining all kinds of specialist technical skills and eye-catching achievements. You’ll prove yourself across a range of projects, sectors and roles. And you’ll likely be on your way to a professional qualification.

PROFESSIONAL STATUS

Naturally, we’ll pay for your study towards a relevant professional qualification:

  • Institution of Mechanical Engineers
  • Institution of Civil Engineers
  • Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers
  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • Chartered Institute of Building

EXCEPTIONAL REWARDS

As well as a competitive salary, there are generous benefits depending on which area you join. Generally, this includes a pension scheme, the option to join our Share Incentive Plan, up to 25 days’ holiday and other flexible perks.

UK-WIDE OPPORTUNITIES

We have graduate opportunities all over the country. Simply search for a vacancy near you.

BUILD ON YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

You’ll need at least a 2:2 degree in an engineering, construction, mathematics, software engineering or environmental subject. It’s important that your degree relates to the vacancy. If it doesn’t, there may be another scheme that suits you.

Learning and Development

We’ll take learning seriously here, so you’ll join all the other graduates on core modules that will help you efficiently manage projects and hone your leadership style. You’ll build on this strong foundation with specialist modules that focus on the unique technical skills for your discipline.

There’s far more to this than study, though. In fact, our 70/20/10 development structure means you’ll spend 70% of the time learning on-the-job, 20% learning from others; and 10% from those more formal courses.

By the time you finish the scheme, you’ll have a wealth of knowledge. And the learning will continue, with regular training sessions and any further support you need to become a member of professional body.
